Supporting Students with Medical Needs

The Governing Body of Roding Valley High School has a duty to ensure arrangements are in place to support pupils with medical conditions. Our aim is to ensure that all pupils with medical conditions, in terms of both physical and mental health, receive appropriate support allowing them to play a full and active role in school life, remain healthy and have full access to education, to achieve their academic potential.

Roding Valley High School believes it is important that parents/carers of pupils with medical conditions feel confident that the school provides effective support for their child’s medical condition, and that pupils feel safe in the school environment.

We would like to emphasis to all parents that Roding Valley is ‘Nut Free School’, therefore it is strictly prohibited to bring any product on to the school site containing any traces of nut.

If your child has a medical condition that the school has yet to be made aware of or you would like to update the schools current medical records for your child, please complete a copy of our Student Health Care Plan and return it to Mrs S Gladman
